Well, the Ptarmigan was finished

Did you really think I could leave it unbound, unfinished?

As long as I kept waking in the night with some sewing plan or a minor change idea.....

it wasn't finished in my soul.


That final decision, whether to hard mount it or give it a conventional binding and hanging sleeve........ that needs more thought.

It's safer with a hard mount, but I liked the addition I gave it today, a thin black line and another fabric that echoes the branches. It limits the snow.
