More Paint

I made another round of materials, fat quarters this time and used the simple method of scrunching the wet material and letting it dry that way. This shows how mobile the paint is, directly related to how dilute.

Mind you this is still raw muslin without the sizing removed. But I like doing it that way because the first reaction of the material is to reject the paint, so it pools.

That's very evident with the blues. Memories of ice here.

The red/pinks/purple, I brushed the pools into cloth, or rather through the cloth. It still remains mobile for a while but the increased volume of paint made the results more uniform.

I rather like the 'muddy' ones.
