Sigh..
This so addictive.
The etching plate is so quick to create but what I was doing came with cleaning issues, getting rid of all the excess ink I didn't want on the print.
Early on I discovered a really faster cheap proofing method. The paper needs to be wet so I'm running a damp/spritzed paper towel through as the first press.
Perfect.
You can see the smudgy areas inside the petals.
Haven't quite got the cleaning up down.
The more 'lines' to the image the easier it is to clean. Any stray ink is not so noticable.
And that's why most etchings are complete scenes, from edge to edge.
I'm in love.
