I love making purses and I love using the patterns from Yoko Saito's books. This one is from her Study Guide on Japanese Taupe Color Theory.
While I didn't strictly adhere to her color formula I dug through my boxes and found what I think is a nice combination of study fabrics.
The patterns are an exercise in eyesight as well. They're all there but layered on the same page. It did take me a few hours to find the last piece.
After filtering out all the decorative and finishing patterns the basic structure went together in a pretty straight forward way.
The sides and the bottom are assembled and the lining parts have been fused with batting.
As usual I'm changing around a few things so tomorrow's stitching should be fun.
