Colour Blocking - Day 2

Why do some days/weeks seem so full you can't turn around for having another place to be.

The other extreme, there is noting on the calendar but it takes two days to recover from all the other things going on.

I DID get started on the colour blocking a few days ago, after I laid out a grid with tailor's chalk.

But looking at it today I decided I was using the wrong materials.

Small prints on the small art pieces are usually not noticeable and they are covered easily with the added components. But the size of the pieces of material to cover these areas, just didn't work.

I turned my stash inside out and gathered up quite a bit of suitable batiks/hand painted and dyed materials. Not enough of anything.

BUT

I cut them all into 6" blocks. Now the pieces can be positioned like playing cards.
