Colour and Fabric Transition

It was time to leave the crochet cotton and fluff behind and add some cloth and to shift to a green outer edge.

A tan and grey green batik was my step of choice.

Starting with a 2.5 diameter circle, I used a template to draw a tiny circle in the center for drawing up the fabric into a flower shape.

Each was also snipped to make individual petals.

Two staggered rows stitching each 'floret' about 1 inch apart filled the space and allowed edge petal room.

I may add more rows but I won't know until I finish the full round
