If you don't already know, I'm in the process of totally revamping my front garden. The grass is gone and I'm moving and thinning a lot of my perennials from the back and front. As the temperatures are ramping up for July, I'm pretty much at a standstill till the end of the season. Anything purchased is in, but anything that needs to be moved, I'm waiting until they've finished flowering.
The other day, my husband sent along a link to an Art Deco Facebook page and scrolling through it I came across a lovely broach.
Bingo!
Zipper art!
As this is a substantially larger piece than the last, I fused a piece of muslin to a sheet of felt.
The pattern of the butterfly was outlined, by simply stitching through the printed image.
