Crafting Sunflowers

There are many ways to do this. DYI channels show how to use different materials. I wanted to use organza. Once I had that in my head I had to play before I could move on.

I ended up simply tying small piece of material to a plastic ring (courtesy of hubby's 3D printer) I tried several glues. Maybe it was the combination of the organza which is really porous and plastic, but nothing grabbed. The tying was really diddly, but it held.

I'd like a little more contrast but that's not happening here.

A piece of brown felt made a nice center. A standard fabric glue held it all together.
